To give you a little head start, we asked our exhibitors to create a list of incredible travel adventures in their top destinations. Here is a sample of what they have come up with:
The Best of Cambodia and Vietnam
The best of Cambodia and Vietnam is unveiled on this journey from Bangkok to Hanoi. Discover the region’s culture and beauty as you visit the stunning ancient temples of Angkor, and be immersed in Vietnam’s markets and vibrant streets.
Travel around bewitching Bangkok in a tuk-tuk, be enchanted by vine-entwined Ta Prohm and experience a mind-blowing sunrise over the temples of Angkok Wat. You’ll have the chance to get a taste of real Cambodian life on the homestay, experience vintage culture in Hoi An, uncover Vietnam’s imperial past in Hue and stay overnight on a Halong Bay boat trip.
Dragoman: 18 days, £1,245 per person.
Jordan Mountain Biking – Dead 2 Red
If you’re a keen mountain biker and you like adventure travels then Jordan Mountain Biking is just for you. Witness the stunning views across the ‘Promised Land’ from the spiritual site of Mount Nebo before descending to the shores of the Dead Sea – an incredible 400m below sea level! Traverse one of the longest canyons in Jordan, arriving at the high mountain plateau of Dana, where the magnificent panorama includes the Wadi Araba desert, far below. Enjoy exhilarating biking on the descent through the Valley of Moses to Petra, where a welcome rest and exploration day at the ancient ‘rose-red city’ awaits. You’ll also get a chance to spend a night under the stars with our Bedouin hosts. From there it’s a short ride to the Red Sea for a well-earned drink and swim to end this action-packed trip.
K E Adventure: 9 days, from £995 per person.
Dolp Trek
Trek Nepal will be showcasing an incredibly special trek in the Dolpo region. Throughout this trek the Himalayan range can be seen in its entire splendour. Phoksondo Lake, the deepest lake in Nepal, and the Ringmo village, provide some of the most exceptional scenery in little known Western Nepal. The trail follows the ancient Tibetan salt caravan route, across two high passes and through the wilderness in one of Nepal’s most remote and least developed areas. In the Dolpo region the monsoon, created by the sea winds blowing from the Gulf of Bengal, is tempered by the Dhaulagiri range, and trekking is therefore also possible during the summer, a period during which the flora explodes in all its glory: orchids, edelweiss, campanulas and forget-me-nots. Witnessing wild and pristine landscapes, ancient villages and impressive waterfalls are only a few things that will turn this trek into an unforgettable experience.
Trek Nepal: 13 days, £1,999 per person.
