Newbury Carnival 10th July 2011 – Going for Gold

The Newbury Carnival will be the biggest community event in the town this year. With more than 50 parade entries the Carnival Parade and a fun-packed fete and funfair in Northcroft Park it’s going to be a great day out for all the family. Some of the highlights include:
- Carnival Parade
- Starts 2pm from Pound Street
- Over 50 exciting entries – prizes for the best!
- Carnival Queen with horse and carriage
- Marching bands, dance groups, street entertainers
- Harley Davison Owners ride-through
Carnival Fete
The Carnival Fete will take place between 12 – 6pm at Northcoft Park and will feature:
- Picnic in the Park with Elvis and live music
- Funfair, children’s rides, arena events
- Over 100 trade and charity stalls
- ‘RhymeTimes’ with West Berks Libraries
- Hog roast, ice creams and other refreshments
So, come and join the parade and a lovely day at the park!
