Shoot the Cover Competition

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE IN THE FRONT COVER OF BUZZ MAGAZINE?

Buzz is inviting local photographers to send their local high resolution photos to [email protected] – These photos will be entered into a competition and the winner will appear on the front cover of Buzz. As we now have 2 separate publications Newbury & District NCT and Thatcham, there will be two opportunities for you to become the winner!

Spread the word amongst your friends and family and start taking fabulous pictures of local scenes!

Please upload your Picture to this event page in a low res format.

The picture can be in Portrait or Landscape format – Bear in mind the finished size for the magazine is 170 x 240 mm Portrait.

We will then chose a winner based on the likes for the post, so get posting and sharing.

Once the winner is chosen, we will be in touch to obtain the high-res photo for printing.

We will load the pictures that have been submitted on the Facebook event here on 20th May 2015

Information for the cover :

MAIN PICTURE

The main focus of your image must be seen in the centre portion of the cover.

The last third of the cover needs to be clutter free to allow for an image and the main heading.

The surrounding elements of your image must have a simple background to allow headings to be read.

A person looking directly at the camera is an appealing cover.

THE IMAGE MUST BE (We will only ask this information when we require the image in High Res format, but we will help you if you do not understand)

Crisp and sharp

Minimum size :

258mm deep x 188 wide
