New Ponemon report shows cybercrime is on the rise By Michael Kassner November 3, 2014, 1:40 PM PST

The Ponemon Institute completed their annual look at how well companies are coping with cyber attacks. Cybercrime is up 10.4% over the previous year.

It’s that time of the year: the Ponemon Institute just published their 2014 Global Report on the Cost of Cyber Crime. “Our goal is to quantify the economic impact of cyber attacks and observe cost trends over time,” mentioned the report. “We believe a better understanding of the cost of cybercrime will assist organizations in determining the appropriate amount of investment and resources needed to prevent or mitigate the consequences of an attack.”  continue reading Here
