The Fast Growth Conference held in the heart of Guildford on the 19 June, brought together over 120 of the South’s growing businesses.
The event, which was held in partnership by GrowthAccelerator – specialists in helping businesses grow and DMH Stallard – the UK’s leading law firm, was developed to bring together high growth SME’s in the South so that they could learn from leading experts and opinion formers on business growth strategy and from other businesses that are realising their growth ambitions.
The conference, which was beaming with over 120 businesses, held several discussions, including those around; smart tax planning, raising capital, talent management, exporting and the effect that attitudes have on business growth.

Industry leaders at the event included those from; The London Stock Exchange, Surrey County Council, UKTI, Flair, Surrey Business School and the ICAEW.
Delegates heard first hand from GrowthAccelerator client Alison Lyons from Sesame Access client who shared their ‘Success Stories’ on how the GrowthAccelerator service helped them to grow their businesses.

Alan Downton, Team Director at GrowthAccelerator and David Hodge, Leader of Surrey County Council were joined by Deputy Mayor Nikki Nelson-Smith who spent the morning networking with the local businesses and discussing growth and the topics discussed at the event.
