Organic beauty on the rise?
BY BUZZ

We have heard of organic food but now a recent study by natural beauty company St. Grape suggests that women are beginning to favour organic skincare products over their chemical counterparts.
Twenty-seven volunteers were selected at random to participate in the study. They were blind folded and asked to try five products in various categories against St. Grape products, which do not use harmful chemicals like parabens and sulfates. After testing, participants were asked to circle their favourite two and although the study was on a small scale, the results could be a sign of a growing trend.
The all-natural alternatives were placed in the top two in three of the categories by all 27 women and in the top two in the other two categories by 25 women. A representative from St. Grape said “We are not surprised by the results and have seen similar results in other industries where ‘natural’ alternatives usually faired better; but our research will be taken to a larger platform in the coming months, especially with our exciting upcoming launch into the UK market.”
