Charity go-karting races call for local teams

Absolutely Leisure Ltd will be holding some community races on Saturday 8 December to celebrate the opening of their new track in Maidenhead, Absolutely Karting.

Local people are invited to submit a team for £5 per person and all money raised will go towards Maidenhead-based charity SportsAble who raise awareness of disability through sports and recreational activities.

Greg Sinclair, Managing Director of Absolutely Leisure, says “I’m really excited that we are finally opening this track, which has been months in the planning. This event should certainly kick things off in style. This is a fantastic opportunity for the local community to come down and experience the new offering in their local area whilst raising money for an extremely worthwhile cause.”

Between 10am and 12pm, organisers will be running a series of races and the winning team will receive a trophy as well as Mario-Kart merchandise. To enter a team, please email [email protected] by Friday 7^th December.
