Experience a ‘White Christmas’ this year at Blenheim Palace.
From 12th November to 16th December the magnificent palace will be decorated for a magical Christmas. On the 26th and 27th the Ice King and Snow Queen ‘living statues’ come to life in the Great Hall and there will also be a Santa’s Grotto on the 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th December.
On the 10th and 11th December there will be entertainment at the Palace with local school choirs singing traditional Christmas carols in the Long Library.
Living Crafts for Christmas 18th – 20th November
Celebrating British produce, there will be 90 stalls with quality crafts on offer including jewellery, ceramics, clothing, and festive homemade food. Visit http://www.livingcrafts.co.uk/ (Entrance is only £5 for Blenheim Palace Annual Pass holders).
Christmas Shopping
Explore Blenheim Palace’s gift shops and buy some unique gifts for Christmas. Buy books, locally produced toiletries and more. You’ll also have the chance to buy classic British brands such as Barbour and Penhaligon’s as well as many lines produced exclusively for Blenheim Palace.
The shops will also be featuring a collection gifts inspired by ‘A White Christmas’ as well as traditional Christmas foods, hampers, wines and champagnes. The Gift Shop is open daily from 10am-5.30pm up to 23rd December, reopening from 11am on Boxing Day. From 1st December, freshly cut Christmas trees will be on sale from 10am-5.30pm at the Palace and Blenheim Palace Sawmill, Combe.
You can also enjoy a delicious three course festive lunch in the magnificent Orangery overlooking the private Italian Gardens; an elegant room which creates the perfect event for a family get-together, birthdays or just to enjoy lunch.
