‘a good read’ giveaway

We’re introducing a new giveaway for every book that features on our ‘a good read’ page. All you have to do is fill in the form below to be a entered in the prize draw and you could win a copy.
The first book we’re giving away is “Bright lights and fairy dust” by Chris Page. Chris wrote this true story in dedication to his wife Linda who dedicated her life to nursing in hospitals in Winchester, Andover and Newbury before becoming a District Nurse in Hungerford.
When her sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer, Linda used her experience and knowledge to help care for her. Just before her sister died, her nephew was similarly diagnosed and Linda went on to care for him. Then, only months later, after going to the doctor about a little lump, Linda and her husband received the devastating news that she too had inoperable lung cancer.
Written by Linda’s husband, in dedication, ‘Bright Lights And Fairy Dust’, is their account of what happened after they received the news. Her care, treatment and medication are woven into a love story that may help and inspire patients, carers, professionals and those bereaved by cancer or terminal illness.
