The Frame Gallery, in Odiham, is gearing up for a summer bursting with colour when its hotly anticipated summer exhibition opens on July 15th.
Running until September 12th 2013, this exclusive exhibition will feature original works by a select handful of the county’s most popular artists.
Bringing together an eclectic collection of works, the exhibition will showcase tranquil coastal-inspired oil paintings by Len Murrel alongside Hilary Dancer’s romantic and atmospheric abstract cityscapes. Joining them are Cicelie Fry with her exciting compositions using mixed media, rich with colour and movement, and a world full of whimsical cats, fanciful dogs and quizzical sheep as seen through the rainbow coloured glasses of Toni Goffe.
The Frame is renowned for supporting talented Hampshire-based artists; attracting visitors from all over the county, and beyond, with an interest in the region’s painters.
Jan Baker, gallery owner, loves working with local artists; she says: “There are so many wonderful artists within Hampshire, and The Frame is passionate about supporting them and offering a space for their work to be enjoyed by others.
“The Frame’s summer exhibition is a unique opportunity to see the work of four very different, but equally captivating, local artists in one show. This colourful exhibition has something for everyone and we’re looking forward to welcoming new and returning art lovers to our gallery this summer.”
