Evening with wildlife photographer Chris Weston

Thatcham Photographic Club is hosting an evening with internationally renowned wildlife photographer Chris Weston on Wednesday 25 September at 7.30pm at Thatcham Town Football Club.

Lovers of wildlife and photography are sure to be enthralled by Chris’s presentation of some wonderful images of animals in the wild and the stories behind the pictures.

Chris is recognised as one of the world’s most influential wildlife photographers.

He has travelled extensively photographing many of the planet’s most endangered species and since 2002 Chris has run photographic workshops at home and abroad.

His easy style and simple explanations of complex skills have made him one of the UK’s foremost tutors.

His work has been published in international media and magazines and he has written twenty-nine books on wildlife and photography, including his most recent title, Animals on the Edge – Reporting from the Frontline of Extinction, which has been described as the “most up-to-date visual survey of our world’s rare and endangered mammals.”

Admission is open to all and the club’s standard visitor charge of just £3 (pay on the door) probably makes this the bargain event of the year – make a note in your diary now.
