Inglewood House will be opening its doors to the public from Thursday 12th September to Friday 13th September as part of the National Heritage Open Days.
The Heritage Open Days, established and organised by English Heritage, are taking place across the UK at castles and city halls, private homes and woodland walks celebrating England’s rich cultural history and local architectural jewels. All visitors will be able to tour Inglewood House and visitors must book their place on the tour in advance. This building in the past has been a luxury spa, a monastery of the De Le Salle Brothers and of course a private home.
Since being rebuilt by Audley Retirement, Inglewood House now offers a new form of luxury retirement. The manor house is home to a number of beautiful apartments and the Audley Club which includes a Bar/Bistro, sumptuous restaurant, Health & Well Being Centre and a swimming pool.
Nick Sanderson, CEO of Audley Retirement, commented: “Since rebuilding the magnificent Inglewood House and returning it to its former grandeur, we’ve been very much looking forward to opening it up to the local community. The Heritage Open Days provide the perfect opportunity to show the high standards of design and quality that has been achieved and the blending of the old and the new.
“Audley villages offer those that live there and local members from the wider community the kind facilities you would expect at an exclusive country club or five star boutique hotels, complete with swimming pool, beautiful terrace, restaurant and bar/bistro.”
Opened by the Earl of Carnarvon in June this year, Audley Inglewood enables residents to live a wonderful, happy and independent retirement in their own homes and like-minded communities.
