There are lots of new cinema releases to look forward to in the coming year and if you’re looking for something to do in the February half term here’s a list of the newest releases coming to a cinema near you.

In Man on a ledge, released February 2nd, ex-cop turned con Nick Cassidy has been pushed too far and threatens to jump from a Manhattan hotel rooftop but as police psychologist Lydia Mercer tries to talk him out of it, it becomes clear that he may have another objective. Sam Worthington, Elizabeth Banks and Jamie Bell star in this thriller.

Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace returns for old and new fans of the beloved sci-fi saga and this time it’s in 3D. Two jedi knights battle to save the planet Naboo. The breath taking fight scene against Darth Maul is not to be missed in 3D on February 9th.

Everyone’s favourite puppets return in The Muppets on February 10th. Along with three muppet fans, the muppets reunite in order to save their old theatre from a greedy oil tycoon.

Also out February 10th is the bone chilling Woman in Black. Adapted from theatre to the big screen, this terrifying story follows a young lawyer (Daniel Radcliffe) as he travels to a remote village and discovers the vengeful ghost of a scorned woman terrorizing the locals.
