Support group enjoy a “cherished” day

Members of the Brain Tumour Support and Social Group were treated to a special day out in Newbury on Thursday, November 24th.
The day started with a makeover in Camp Hopson courtesy of Sadie and Kirstin at the Laura Mercier counter. After getting glammed up, they headed to the groups favourite restaurant Ask in Newbury’s Market Place. The meal was organised by group chairman Louise Maslin Fink along with the support of Buzz magazine. Bernie and Kathy from Buzz were there with crackers, hats and gift bags along with Gary Poulson, former Mayor of Newbury and director of the Newbury Volunteer Bureau.
Chairman Louise, who set up the group and holds regular events for the members, described the event as ”a cherished day for all. We offer our love and thanks to all involved.”
