Work and Careers Fair

Following the success of last year’s event, the West Berkshire Work and Careers Fair is back on Wednesday 12 June at Newbury College between 10am and 3pm with a wider range of exhibitors.

This free event is open to people of all ages and showcases the work opportunities available. Find out what could make you stand out to an employer and attend workshops to get expert advice on CV writing, interview techniques and job searching.

Newbury MP Richard Benyon says “This is a great opportunity to connect potential employers with potential employees. The organisers understand what potential employees are looking for and what employers can do to get the best from those in the job market.”

A mixture of companies, charities, training and educational organisations will be exhibiting, including Barclays, Gamma, BMW, British Airways, Capita, Donnington Valley Group and the British Horseracing Authority. Job Centre Plus, National Careers Service and The National Apprenticeship service will also be offering advice.
