The Award winning Hampshire OktoberFest will celebrate its 10th anniversary on the 12th 13th and 14th October at the Basingstoke Cricket and Sports Club. The event annually attracts over 8,000 who enjoy a choice of over 220 different beers and ciders from across the region as well as having two wine bars and – for the first time – two gin bars. Visitors will also be able to see and hear over 40 bands/music acts over the weekend split between the Festival Marquee and the Upham Marquee. For those who like their drinks in a more quiet area our third marquee is indeed the “Quiet Marquee” serving Craft Ales and hosting one of the two Gin Bars”
Friday is “Works Night Out” and albeit it is open to the public it does attract many business/professionals who wish to entertain clients, staff or colleagues who just want a great end of week Friday Night Out – Doors open from 5 pm through to Midnight.
Saturday is “Festival Day” from 11 am through to Midnight.
Sunday is “Family Day” with lots of entertainment for parents and kids alike – under 16’s are free and adults are half price that of Friday and Saturday.
There are plenty of food and craft outlets and the site is walking distance from both the railway station and bus station – FREE parking is also available on site.
