A third of Hampshire buyers say spring is the best time to move

A total of 33% of people in Hampshire say the best time for them to move home would be in spring, a survey by David Wilson Homes Southern has revealed.

Now that we are coming out of the winter blues and starting to enjoy the warmer weather and lighter evenings, people find that now is the best time start looking for a new property.

House hunters in the area are being encouraged to spring into a brand new David Wilson home this season and take advantage of the offers that are currently available.

Rob Allen, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes Southern, said: “Spring is known as being a time for new beginnings so whilst we are looking forward to the year ahead it’s a great time to also look at moving home.

“The recent survey we conducted revealed that spring is by far the best time for house hunters in the county to move into a new home.

“It’s a great time for families who have young children starting school in September to move as they can then find a home near a school that appeals to them and be moved in in time for when it starts.

“To help those who are interested in moving at this time of year, we have a number of incentives and offers available to help people move to a brand new home at one of our developments across the county.”

With moving schemes such as Part Exchange and the developer’s bespoke Movemaker scheme available on selected plots, now is an excellent time for second steppers looking to make their next move into a new home.

David Wilson Homes Southern currently has homes available at the following developments in the area: Gillies Meadow and Spiers Meadow in Basingstoke and Locksbridge Park in Hampshire.
