Abbotswood Court Care Home in Romsey celebrates second anniversary and ‘Good’ rating from Care Quality Commission following their most recent inspection
Abbotswood Court Care Home in Romsey has reason to celebrate. As they approach their second anniversary, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has found the quality of care provided by the Home to be ‘Good’ overall and ‘Outstanding’ for ‘Responsive’ to meeting people’s needs. This is a real achievement for a new home.
The CQC inspection asks five key questions: does the Home offer a service that is Safe; Effective; Caring; Responsive; Well-led? As the main regulator of care-providers up and down the country, the CQC report acts as a crucial industry standard and an essential guide for those choosing care for themselves or their loved ones.
Gemma Ridout-Bowden, General Manager of Abbotswood Court, said:
“We are delighted with the results of our CQC inspection. This recognition of the quality of our care is a wonderful way to mark our second anniversary. We provide really personalised care, tailored to the needs of the individual. We are especially proud of our ‘Outstanding’ for ‘Responsive’ rating which is a testament to the exceptional work done by our highly-trained and dedicated staff and the relationship that exists between them and our residents.”
