Newbury Town Council is pleased to announce the launch of its brand new website at newbury.gov.uk, containing information about the Council and local area.
The website includes contact details for the 23 members who serve the Town Council, as well as information about meeting dates, agendas and minutes, Council services and facilities, community events and the latest news updates on the Council’s projects and activities. The new website will be up and running on Thursday 8 December 2016.
The new website is more streamlined and is now compatible with smart phones and tablets as well as on a laptop or PC, so visitors will be able to do what they need to when and where it’s most convenient.
There are links to our social media pages too; we are now on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so you can follow events as they happen.
Councillor Dave Goff, Leader of Newbury Town Council said “Our previous website was informative and achieved a high standard of service for residents, but we have now developed an improved site, so that the public can now easily access Council information
on their mobile devices. This makes it easier for residents and visitors to interact with us online and access information about the Council’s activities. I especially want to thank Tony Hiller, of the Council’s Corporate Services Team, who built the website for us. We are keen to know your views on the new website so please have a look and complete the feedback form when visiting the site. ”
