Dynamic new team being selected for The Fizzy Tarté
The management team at the ‘Cranleigh Boutique Brand’, have announced the appointment of two new skilled ‘mixologists’ for their Bowness based patisserie, champagne and café bar, The Fizzy Tarté. The upmarket establishment is due to open later this month and will bring a new dynamic to the vibrant village, with an injection of luxury and outstanding service.
Kuba Marcisz, 26, has been a mixologist since the age of 19 and, together with colleague, Csaba Palyov, who has been a mixologist since 2006, will bring the ‘showmanship service’ that the Cranleigh management are hoping will stand The Fizzy Tarté out from the crowd.
“I’m delighted to be joining the team at the Cranleigh and am excited to bring something unique to the area in terms of our offering. We are going to be creating a really different experience, with new tastes and something for everyone.” said Kuba. “To be a good mixologist, you need to be able to tailor the cocktails to the individual customer’s tastes. It’s all about matching their preferences to what we serve. That bespoke service is very much the ethos of the Cranleigh brand.”

The Cranleigh is renowned for being one of the area’s best employers, with staff training, development and strong values at the heart of their employment policies and incentives. As owner, Stephen Hargreaves explains, it’s all about the right attitude:
“We are a close knit team at the Cranleigh, with our employees very customer focused. We have been lucky in drawing the very best people in the area to us and they have consistently delivered award winning venues and unique service. The majority of our team is local and long standing, so we must be doing something right!”
One of the brand’s longest standing employees is 29 year old former Lakes school pupil, Mickeala Nattrass, who joined the Cranleigh when it first opened almost 10 years ago. Starting in housekeeping, Mickeala climbed the ranks and is now the general manager of the Cranleigh Boutique Hotel.

“When I first started working for the Cranleigh, there wasn’t actually a job for me, but Stephen saw something in me and employed me nonetheless!” she said. “The team is very loyal and essentially, that’s because of the way they are treated by management. They recognise that if you look after employees, they give their very best. For the right people, the career path here is exceptional.”
